Wedding Thoughts

So I haven't posted in a very long time...and for that I feel bad. I still have only a slight idea of what I want to do with my life but I do have it narrowed down now to working somethere in the hospitality field or becoming a teacher of some sort. I went to a wedding yesterday and it was truly a gorgeous wedding but it had some misgivings. The ceremony itself was wonderful. The receptions location was fine had the date been early summer or spring or early fall. An outdoor reception in the middle of summer is fine as long as your guests have the option of getting out of the heat once and awhile. Another interesting and not great thing is the bridesmaids dresses. Each girl seemed to have just gone and found a dress with no parameters given to them of what the dress should look like. Two of them even looked like they had just thrown the dresses together with random scraps of fabric. I've decided that if the bride wants the girls to all look good in the style of dress they want then all the dresses should be the same color...but if she wants to encorporate multiple colors into the wedding via the maids dresses then they should all be the same style. You cant do both without the entire wedding party turning into mass chaos. Basically I go to weddings and enjoy them but afterwards find myself shaking my head a bit wondering what the bride was thinking when she decided to do what she did. While I understand that everyone has their own unique style, somethings just do not look good together.
