It was a blast this past week. I may not have gotten to Madrid as was originally planned but I did get to go to Ireland and it was absolutely amazing!! I may be going back next semester with Jesse if we decide that it would fit well into our plans.
Julie and I started our weekend in a pub for dinner and then just kind of wandered a bit before going back to the hostel to plan what we wanted to do the next 3 days. We called it a night at 1am Spain time since we had forgotten it was an hour different in Ireland.
The next day (still on Spain time) we got up at 8:30am and headed out to see the far part of the city. We started at Kilmainham Gaol which is an old jail a lot like Alcatraz with the same kind of history even. Next was the Guiness Storehouse. Time for some beer and the whole history about it and how it is made.
10 days left in Spain (including today). I am not sure how I feel about that yet though I do know that I cannot wait to be with my family for Christmas.
